Meatballs

  • 1 1/2 pounds ground turkey
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1 cup Italian bread crumbs
  • 1 medium onion, finely diced
  • 4 cloves garlic, crushed and minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmigiano or Romano cheese
  • Kosher salt and black pepper to taste
  1. Preheat oven to 450º F.
  2. Mix all ingredients in a bowl.
  3. Roll mixture into 1-ounce (30 grams) balls and space equally on a nonstick baking sheet.
  4. Bake until internal temperature reaches 165° (about 12 minutes).
